…in the city

To get to the city you can travel by bike, taxi or park your own car in one of the car parks located near the city centre. Granada is a very walkable city, with a nice urban bus network. You can also download this useful app (Moovit).

The Alhambra

The visit of the whole complex usually takes 3 to 4 hours. From Cortijo del Pino it is about 15 minutes by car and you can park in the outdoor car park next to the complex. The time shown on the entrance ticket is the scheduled time to visit the Nasrid Palaces, while you can take the opportunity to visit the rest of the monument. Remember to bring your ID card/passport. Albaicín and Sacromonte

To visit the Albaicín and Sacromonte you must go to Plaza Nueva. For the Albaicín, you can walk up the Calderería (a Moorish souk with shops and tea shops) or take the city bus C32, this bus makes a circular route around the whole neighbourhood. For Sacromonte, follow the Carrera del Darro and the Cuesta del Chapiz or take the city bus C34.

Flamenco

Every day there are different shows in bars and local clubs in Granada. You have a very complete and up-to-date calendar at the following website:

For Flamenco classes we recommend el Carmen de las Cuevas.
